Frequently Asked Questions
Results are observed gradually and a series of treatment (usually between 3 - 5) are necessary.
Shortly after the treatment there is moderate skin erythema (redness) and edema (slight puffiness) of the treated zone. The erythema and edema usually subside within 12 – 24 hours. During the healing phase, small pin-point crusts appear in place of each ablated spot where the electrode pins contacted the skin. These crusts will exfoliate naturally after a few days.
The degree of improvement and the number of treatments required are individual and will vary according to the degree of severity of the skin’s condition and treatment parameters, as well as other factors. Results appear gradually: immediate transient improvement can be noticed after each treatment, however maximum long-term effect is usually notable 2-4 months after treatment conclusion.
